Cricketer Kevin Pietersen has apologised for his outburst on Twitter following his exclusion from England's one-day series against Pakistan.
Pietersen let out a angry tweet on the social networking site but insists that he never meant it to come out in the way he did.
"It came out in the way that I didn't want it to come out. It wasn't meant for the public domain, I apologise for it entering the public domain and I also want to apologise for the language I used."
The batsmen has been left out of two Twenty20 internationals against Pakistan on Sunday and Tuesday and the five 50-over internationals between 10-22 September.
