Pakistan Delegation To Arrive In London To Investigate Betting Allegations

A three man delegation from Pakistan has been sent to the UK to investigate betting allegations that have shrouded the Pakistan Cricket team's tour of England.

Police questioned the players on the weekend after the News of the World alleged that Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir were paid to bowl no-balls during the opening day of the fourth Test.

Imran Khan has said the country should not suffer for the actions (alleged) of a handful of people.

"Why should Pakistan cricket suffer if some players have indulged in a crime? Why should Pakistani supporters suffer because of that? The people who are found guilty should be removed from the team and replaced and should be punished as an example for future generations to realise that crime does not pay."
