Sachin Tendulkar Backs England To Retain Ashes

Sachin Tendulkar has backed England to beat Austrailia and retain the Ashes.

The Indian batsman said,

"I think England have a good chance of retaining the Ashes. The key members for England will be Pietersen and (Eoin) Morgan, and in the bowling department (Graeme) Swann. From what I have seen of Morgan, he looks a solid player. He can control the pace of the game quite nicely – certainly in T20 and one-day matches."

The little master believes the experience of Andrew Strauss could also prove vital.

"Then after that you have the experience of Andrew Strauss, so they can do something special in Australia."

England play Australia next week in the Natwest Series.
